Program Schedule

The Gold Cup is the most important competition of the Nordic Folkboat. It is comparable to a World Cup. In 1963, the Cup itself was donated by Senator Hagelstein of Luebeck. Since then, the Cup has been held annually either in Denmark, Sweden or Germany.

Whichever Club wins the Cup consecutively 6 times is allowed to keep it. The first Cup ever allowed to be kept was won in 1974 by the København Amatør Sejlklub (KAS). The second Cup was won in 1982 by Kerteminde Sejlklub.

The Gold Cup 2015 will take place in Rostock-Warnemuende, from July 13, 2015  to July 18, 2015.  The Cup will be hosted at the Yachthafen Mittelmole by Spandauer Yacht-Club together with the Rostocker Regatta Verein.
